This assignment was to design a full brand identity, including business cards, packaging, website, and mobile site for a fictional gardening company called Cultivate. The brief was to create an identity that could be marketed to both novice and seasoned gardeners, and that would have broad appeal.
In that vein, I chose the typeface Sketchnote Square for the logo to give the brand a down-to-earth, approachable vibe, paired with Mislab Std for body copy. I envisioned eco-friendly kraft paper packaging and colorful illustrations inspired by woodblock prints. The primary brand colors are earthy, muted shades of green with bright pops of fuchsia, plum, and lime as accents.
